From Darjeeling I took a shared jeep to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, which as you probably remember was a independent kingdom until 1975, when it was absorbed into India. Sikkim is famous, for among other things, its flowers, especially its orchids. Photos of some of the local beauties:
